When is the service available?

Term time:

10.00am – 5.00pm, Monday
9.30am – 5.00pm, Tuesday to Friday

Vacations:

9.30am – 4.00pm, Monday – to Friday

What services are available?

Postgraduate students

  • 30 minute Careers Guidance appointments with a choice of Careers Coach are offered within 5 working days of your request
  • For MBA and MSC students, job skills workshops are offered  (MBA in semester 1, 2a and 2b) (MSc in semester 1 and 2)
  • For MSc students , a series of understanding the job market and success in the job market workshops are offered in semesters 1 and 2 respectively
  • Bradford Guest Lecture Series – guest speaker presentations by organisations in the public and private sector,
  • A range of specialist careers information is available at the School of Management and students can access the full range of services to students on the main campus.
  • Alumni are welcome to access the services on offer, there will be limitations to some of the online services due to licensing arrangements

Undergraduates

  • A limited number of 30 minute Careers Guidance Appointments with a Careers Adviser at the School of Management are offered within 10 working days. Alternatively students are able to book appointments to see a Careers Adviser within Career Development Services on the main campus.
  • A series of understanding the job market and success in the job market workshops are offered in semesters 1 and 2 respectively
  • Bradford Guest Lecture Series – guest speaker presentations by organisations in the public and private sector.
  • A range of careers information is available at the School of Management and students can access the full range of services to students on the main campus.

How can you give feedback on our service?

Clients wishing to give feedback should complete an entry in the feedback book at the School of Management.

Clients wishing to complain about any aspect of the service will be asked to put their complaint in writing to the Associate Dean for either Postgraduate or Undergraduate studies.
