Career Development Services comprises 14 individuals who all work together to provide an integrated range of quality, career-focused services, primarily for students, graduates and recruiters, as outlined in our aims and objectives.

Joanne Beaumont Jo is Head of the Career Development Service and University lead for employability. She also represents the University with a range of local strategic organisations regarding employment and skills matters. Jo is currently an external moderator with Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Coventry. Jo has extensive experience in the pre and post-16 schools and college sectors, HE sector and career guidance sector in a variety of roles including frontline service delivery, operation and strategic management, project management, training and development, quality assurance and teaching, and lecturing.
