Aruna's Photo Aruna Bhardwaj
Aruna is responsible for the administration of all Career Development Services Modules and liaison with the External Examiner. She is the First Aider for CDS and coordinates the effective use of office space and ordering of stationery. She is also part of the team providing a frontline service at the Careers Information Desk. Aruna has over 21 years experience of secretarial / administration work within the HE sector.

Shaun's Photo Shaun Briggs
Shaun has responsibility for the collection and maintenance of management information statistics, also providing administrative support to the department, particularly to the Head of Service. He is also part of the team providing a frontline service at the Careers Information Desk. Shaun was previously responsible for the student HESA return in Student Administration & Support at the University, and has worked in IT Support in HE, Customer Service roles for Thomas Cook/Jet2 and as a freelance Graphic Designer.

Catherine's Photo Emma Brown
Emma is part of the team providing a frontline service at the Careers Information Desk. She is responsible for updating information on our website and social media, and supports CDS employer engagement activities such as vacancy advertising and organising of events. She has previously worked in a variety of customer service and administrative roles in insurance, travel and charitable organisations.

Nicola's Photo Nicola Crowther
Nicola is responsible for all operational aspects of the University Work Register. She also issues contracts of employment to students and manages the monthly payroll for student staff. Nicola is the main contact for employers seeking to advertise part time and vacation opportunities and is part of the team providing a frontline service at the Careers Information Desk. Nicola has over 10 years experience working in the banking sector.

Catherine's Photo Catherine Jandzio
Catherine provides information and advice for students looking for work experience opportunities whilst studying. She coordinates the summer internship programme - “Get Inspired” and liaises with employers to provide work experience opportunities for our students. Previously Catherine managed the student employment services at University of Aberdeen Students Association (2 years) and Leeds University Union’s Joblink (2 years).

Daniel's Photo Daniel Penn
Daniel is responsible for coordinating and analysing the Destinations of Leavers from HE survey (DLHE). He undertakes analysis of employment data at local and regional level(LMI) and is editor of “What Do Graduates Do?", an AGCAS publication. Daniel is also the Health and Safety Representative for LSS / CDS. Daniel spent 2 years working in Personnel / HR for the NHS, and was involved in MBA student recruitment while working for the School of Management. He also has experience of ERDF funded projects working with SMEs locally.
