Get inspired – the University of Bradford's summer internship scheme

What is it?

Do you want the opportunity to gain some real work experience this summer?

We are working with local companies to provide genuine short term summer internships for students who can prove they are keen, enthusiastic and up for a challenge.

You will be paid a training allowance of £215 per week which is tax and NI exempt. 

Completion of a self reflective report is a compulsory element of your internship, failure to complete this report will result in £100 of your final payment being withheld by us.

Who can apply?

Home/EU, in receipt of University bursary and/or disabled student’s allowance, must be a current 2nd year (penultimate year) going in to their final year in September 2012.

Are you concerned that as a disabled graduate you might find it harder to get work once you qualify?  Because disabled people continue to be underrepresented in job market, this year we are also targeting our summer internship scheme for disabled students / students with dyslexia.
