Employability Skills Workshops

A programme of workshops is held every semester covering all aspects of job search and recruitment and selection methods. A common theme in all of our skills workshops is the opportunity to involve 'real' recruiters in delivering the training. This is always appreciated by our students who continually rate employer-led workshops highly. Sessions last an hour or so and we can target our advertising to specific groups of students to ensure a relevant audience, if required. Examples in the past have included sessions on skills such as team-building, project management, presentations, leadership; as well as those focused on job-seeking skills such as CV writing, selection interviews, assessment centres etc.
